When one thinks of innocent love, one may think of the love between a child and its mother. One may think of the first person they ever loved when they were young, or one may think of the first thing they ever loved and cared about. Innocent love can come in many forms, but it differs from the love experienced as one grows older. Perhaps love becomes duller as life reveals its bitterness and wonders. Perhaps love intensifies, and is no longer as simple as something that makes a child first giggle. Children and youthful individuals, are especially forgiving and thoughtful. The love of youth lacks conditionality and selfishness, and it appears just as it is. Regardless, the memory of innocent love tends to embed itself within each person. -Even if the exact memory cannot be recalled, the feeling of innocent is imprinted on the memory of every individuals heart. It is like the shadow or echo to the current and present love felt by every person. The extent of this echo and shadow though, will vary from individual to individual. That brings the question, how does the memory of innocent love echo within your being? Where was the innocent love found? How did that love feel? If the memory is faded, how does the emotional memory feel? What do you see, when you look into the simple shadow of the way you once loved long ago?
